MY WORK WITH TEAM 272

This robot led us to the world championship. It use an air pressure piston and electromagnet to launch foam balls from its arm. It also was capable of maneuvering tough obstacles.

My Junior year robot used a conveyor belt system to pick up totes, or storage containers, and stack them using a hook attacked to the back of the robot.

I won my first competition with this robot. It used an arm with wheels to pull in exercise, or yoga balls onto a platform held down by an electromagnet. The electromagnet would detach, sending the ball over a bar 5.2 ft off the ground.

My first robot used accelerating wheels to propel Frisbees into a goal after having been loaded at a human player station. It is the fastest and most maneuvarable of the 4 robots.

"A JOB WORTH DOING
IS A JOB WORTH DOING WELL"

Team 272 is run by and group of engineers and designers who voulenteer to be mentors of the robotics club of Lansdale Catholic Highschool. Our team is one of many all over the world who compete in local, reginal, and international competitions run by a company called FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology). FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) hosts these competitions to inspire students to pursue engineering as an occupation. More information of FIRST can be found here.
